When Natalie and Peter met, he was living in Waterloo while she was in Toronto. It began as a long distance relationship, but they both felt very right about each other, and within six months they were living together in Toronto. On the couple’s one year anniversary, Peter came home holding a single rose. Natalie was confused, as he had already bought her a bouquet of roses earlier. Natalie thought she would just add the extra rose to the vase with the rest of the bouquet, just as she turned and saw a ring inside the petals of the rose…and the rest was history.
The bride’s favourite wedding moment was the big reveal when she locked eyes on her soon-to-be husband. “My heart was racing as I was walking to meet him in the garden of the hotel. I was nervous, happy, excited and lightheaded. But when he turned around and smiled at me, I just knew that it was going to be a perfect day,” says Natalie.
As for the couple’s favourite wedding details, everything about that day was perfect, say the bride and groom, but the flowers and the band playing their favourite jazz tunes stand out to the happy couple.
